Solomon's Knot Bach's Horns 2025

With  Bach's Horns,  Solomon's Knot presents an original album that places three works by Johann Sebastian Bach in a new dramatic context—without losing their historical spirit or musical ambition. At the heart of the album is the so-called "Hunting Cantata" (Was mir behagt, ist nur die münchter Jagd, BWV 208), flanked by the Solemn  Mass in F major  (BWV 233) and the  Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F major  (BWV 1046), which is performed here captivatingly both as a tonal prelude and as an integral part of the cantata.
